What does Microbead free mean and why is it important?

Kinvara Skincare was the first Irish Skincare brand to be recognised by the International campaign ‘Beat the Microbead’ for it’s outright ban of microbeads in all of the brand’s skincare products. Microbeads are mostly used in soaps, shower gels and facial scrubs and can wind up in marine ecosystems and aquatic life including your own food chain. Excluding them from our products makes sense on many levels.
