SPF is a work in progress and at the moment none of our products contain an SPF. The reasons are twofold: firstly, it is very difficult to formulate a ‘natural’ sunscreen as most standard sunscreens use chemical UV filters which can be very problematic for people (Source EWG EWG 2020 Guide to Sunscreens) and would not be our choice for SPF. Secondly, natural UV blockers can often leave a heavy, white ghosting effect on the skin which we don't like. The good news is that there are developments in natural sunscreen ingredients and we are monitoring their availability as part of our ongoing Research & Development program. In the meantime we recommend using a suitable SPF over our Active Rosehip Day Cream and avoiding the sun during its most damaging part of the day.
